The Creative Nature of Wildlife:
Our Animal Neighbors and How They Spark Imagination
A presentation by Maine children’s book author, Tonya Shevenell
Looking out the window and walking in the woods are where Tonya finds inspiration for her Maine children’s books. On Wednesday, March 5th, join us for a special event to celebrate Read Across America Week from 5:30-6:30 pm at Monroe School. Tonya will talk about the real wildlife that inspire her fictional characters, and tell us the stories behind her stories. She will also provide tips on turning your own experiences with wildlife into stories and lasting memories.
This is an all-ages event and includes time for book signing at the end.
